Our People

The AAAC(WA) has an elected Executive Committee comprising 8 Members who oversee the day to day operations of the Association.  The Committee is responsible for implementing the Associations strategic direction, professional development and industry and government liaison on behalf of our Members.  Committee Members are elected each year at the AAAC(WA) Annual General Meeting.

Ashley Herbert

President

Ashley is a farm management consultant and owner of Agrarian Management. For the last 20 years, Ashley has been consulting to Western Australian farmers, helping them to manage their businesses to maximise returns and achieve their farming objectives.

Greg Easton

Treasurer / Vice President

Greg has worked in agribusiness since 2003 and joined Farmanco in 2009. Based in their Mundaring office, Greg comes from a farming background, having managed and operated a 1780 ha farming property in the Upper Great Southern. More recently, Greg was a Commercial Banking Manager with Bankwest.

Glen Brayshaw

Glen is a farm management consultant and grain marketing advisor with PlanFarm. He is experienced in Budgeting, Cashflow and Business mapping. With specialist Strategic Planning and assisted decision making using Benchmarking and Commodity Marketing advice.

Brent Searle

Brent has had a long career in the agricultural and finance sectors since graduating from University.  Brent is now consulting with BJW Agribusiness to a wide range of broad acre, dairy and horticultural clients in WA focusing on farm business management services to growers, assisting clients to achieve their goals.

Richard Brake

Richard has over 30 years extensive international agribusiness experience providing consulting services in business analysis, and farming systems management to corporate and family owned grain, livestock, and horticultural enterprises in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia.
Richard operates an agri-business consulting service to broadacre, horticultural and pastoral businesses throughout Western Australia. He has a deep understanding of the profit drivers within an enterprise and loves challenging owners to deliver business improvement.

Stacey Bell

Stacey is a farm management consultant with Farmanco based in Moora. She has in-depth and wide-ranging expertise in analysis enterprise and rotational margins, benchmarking business performance, developing finance plans and farm business plans and feasibility studies, looking after farm businesses into the future.

Carly Veitch

Carly Veitch is a Farm Management Consultant at AgAsset, working with farming clients in the Central and Eastern Wheatbelt. Carly combines 15 years experience in agricultural consulting and finance roles with a passion for helping people and their businesses to grow and develop. Her areas of expertise are in farm business management and strategic planning. Carly is also actively involved in her family farm business at Balkuling.

Stephen Curtin

Stephen is an Agricultural Consultant with ConsultAg in Lake Grace. Steve offers a wide range of farm advisory services to clients to help them achieve their business and personal goals. Steve has 36 years experience in low and medium rainfall farming systems originally with the Department of Agriculture and 21 years as a Private Farm Consultant with a background of agronomy, finance, research, resource management and succession planning. These days, Steve specialises in Budgeting and Financial Management and Analysis for farming businesses.

Amanda Berry

Executive Officer

Amanda joined AAAC(WA) in June 2022 as its Executive Officer.  Sara has over 15 years experience working in business improvement, auditing, marketing and communications and business development.  Amanda is responsible for the day to day operations and management of AAAC(WA) in consultation with the Executive Committee and Members.
